About Me

I LOVE Life! I think its Absolutely wonderful. There's good and bad times, up and down BUT Life is great. I LOVE hard and don't give up easily. Been married since 19 in 1999. We have 3 dogs all with "K" names. I love God! I love my wife! I love kids! I love my family! "I'd choose life over death AND love over fear any day". I work from home! I simply can't wait to watch the next movie or go on the next trip (vacation) with my wife.

Food Of Love

I don’t know why you eat.
I don’t know what food makes you think of.
I don’t know of what importance food is to you.

But to me…ahhhh, food is love.

I have great control over what I eat, I eat regularly and I eat healthy (well I have my days)…BUT I enjoy my food.

To me food makes me think of family.
To me food makes me think of the good times with my wife.
To me food brings happiness and memories.

I LOVE Food!

I LOVE the food experience (if you will).

I love how it brings people together.
I love how it makes people smile.
I love the happiness it brings.

It always reminds me of sitting around the table or enjoying a Superbowl in the living room.

Food also reminds me of sports. And I love sports.

You know obesity has been declared an epidemic in the USA mainly because of “emotional eating”. It’s because so many of us love to eat and we tie in that love for eating with emotional events.

That’s true we do, and there over over 150 million Americans that prove that they agree. Now I am not obese, and I don’t think this is an excuse to be so, but emotional eating can be so fun as long as it doesn’t cause guilt. LOL

Anyway, I love food, and the company it brings.

Happy eating.

    Hi Kenney!

I totally agree with you about the love of food and how it brings people together. I used to cook Sunday night dinners for my neighbors and roommates. All ten of us would come together and share stories from each week and when they would thank me I’d reply, “There’s no need to thank me. This is for me, not for you.”

Like it is for you, it’s all about the joy I get from sharing good food and good times with good friends. Keep on enjoying the good food and the good company!

That’s was such a great comment. Thanks. As a matter of fact I made some food last night at my dad’s house and shoot all of a sudden people started coming out of the wood works. We had my dad, my step mom, my came through, my uncle and before you know it is was a nice little gathering in the middle of the week.

My dad was like hey, after a meal like that I just want to sit here around the island (in the kitchen) and hang out. We can clean up later.

That comment you made about “there’s no need to thank me. This is for me, not for you.”… I say that all the time. So, funny. It’s always good when you get a kick out of doing something for others. You are alright in my book…LOL

    Have a great day
